Rams form the DHC12 series are made of aluminium to a large extend
which means lower weight for these rams than comparable tools made
of steel. The hydraulic rescue ram series DHC12 embraces double
acting rams with both one and two-stage strokes. Ranging from max.
stroke 285 mm to 570 mm (2x285 mm).
The max. pushing force at 12.2 ton and the max. pulling force at 3
ton are suitable for many different rescue challenges. Furthermore,
there are several different accessories available, which enhance
the rams possibilities even more.
Safety features
Motordriven rescue tools from NIKE are provided with a twist-grip
control with dead man's handle. This means that the tool will stop
immediately and remain in its position when the handle is
released.
Furthermore, all rescue tools are equipped with a built-in safety
valve which protects the tools from overload. Besides that, the
valve prevents the return hose being connected wrongly.
